1 Corinthians 12:4-6
4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all people.
One of my personal pet peeves is when we label a child as "gifted" it usually is referring to their intelligence or apptitude to excel in school work. There are so many more ways people have been blessed with talents and gifts by God. It seems foolish to discount all the other gifts people have and many times haven't yet developed. What about gifts that can't be measured with a numerical value? All the gifts God has given you are vital to furthering his kingdom. Use them to his glory and remember from the video we watched last Wednesday night "God doesn't make junk."
